Madrid's leading shopping center

In 2017, the French investment fund Klépierre started the refurbishment of the Plenilunio shopping center, led by the architectural firm Chapman Taylor. This shopping center is considered one of the best in Madrid for its wide range of stores and leisure activities.

The objective of the renovation was to offer a functional and modernist environment to the user with a substantial improvement to its different accesses. Klépierre, as a reference group in shopping centers throughout Europe, relied on the experience of Signes in the implementation of its new corporate image, both for the interior and exterior of the shopping center.

The implementation of the new brand has been carried out with high quality materials and finishes that integrate perfectly with the renovation. The interior has been worked with curved shapes and elements with halo lighting. The signage of the toilets and information points is of great importance in the overall interior signage. New operator signs have also been made for each location, homogenizing materials and dimensions.

On the outside, large internally illuminated monoliths, up to 9 meters high, have been installed at the access doors to the shopping center. The finishing material used is Composite, which provides great durability and resistance and easy maintenance.

The signaling of the different accesses to the subway parking has been carried out by means of large aluminum gantries. In addition to the access gates, road signs have been updated in the parking levels to ensure the correct flow of vehicles and pedestrians.
