Implementation at national level and Mexico

ITP Aero is a Spanish aeronautical engine and components company, with more than 30 years in the industry, presence in five countries and manufacturing centers in Spain, Mexico and India.

It is the ninth largest company in the industry worldwide and designs and manufactures for the world’s leading aircraft engine manufacturers (Rolls-Royce, Pratt & Whitney, Honeywell).

The year 2017 the British company Rolls-Royce bought the brand of Industria de Turbo Propulsores (ITP) and a new brand, ITP Aero, appeared.

Following the rebranding, Signes was awarded the tender to carry out the wayfinding project and the manufacture and installation of the exterior and interior signage for all the company’s Spanish headquarters, as well as the headquarters in Mexico.

In total, the wayfinding project was developed and subsequently implemented for seven of the company’s centers: Zamudio, Barakaldo, Sestao, Derio, Ajalvir, Alcobendas and Mexico (Santiago de Querétaro).

Based on an initial audit, a study of the needs of each center was developed and the Graphic Design was worked on, taking into account the corporate identity and signage manual of ITP Aero. The flows and circulations of workers and customers were studied to define the different typologies of the signs and the industrial design was worked on, taking into account the inclement weather, the durability of the signs and the adaptability to the environment to avoid hindering the work.
