Avant-garde cultural space of reference
La Casa Encendida is a social and cultural center of the Montemadrid Foundation, located in the heart of Madrid. In 2017, and as part of the continuous renovation of the spaces, the building’s signage project was carried out, the design of which fell to the 2×4 architecture studio.
The project required a complete update of the corporate image. Typography, colors and pictograms were renewed with the aim of making it an accessible building and a national reference, incorporating the Braille system in the signage, as well as contrasting colors (black and white), with graphics that facilitate the understanding of the space for the visually impaired.
La Casa Encendida es un centro social y cultural de la Fundación Montemadrid, situado en pleno centro de Madrid. En 2017, y como parte de la continua renovación de los espacios, se llevó a cabo el proyecto de señalización del edificio, cuyo diseño recayó en el estudio de arquitectura 2×4.
El proyecto requería una actualización completa de la imagen corporativa. Tipografía, colores y pictogramas se renovaron con el objetivo de convertirlo en un edificio accesible y de referencia nacional, incorporando el sistema Braille en la señalética, así como colores contrastados (blanco y negro), con grafismos que facilitan la comprensión del espacio a las personas con discapacidad visual.
