Hospital Vall d’Hebron

Signes was the winner of the public tender to execute the wayfinding project and the manufacture and installation of exterior signage. Concept Design was worked on taking into account the Campus Corporate Identity manual. Flows and circulations were studied to define the different types of signs and work was done on the graphic and industrial design, creating a numerical and chromatic code to facilitate identification and the services of the different buildings that make up the Campus.

The signage is mainly formed by three types of signs: pedestrian directional, made with aluminium poles and several slats that indicate the different paths that lead the patient to its destination building; the luminous directional for vehicles, which clearly indicate the route that can be followed with special indications to easily reach the different Emergency units in different buildings of the campus, and the positional identification signs located at the entrances of all the buildings, in which its clear numbering and chromatic solution help its easy visualisation to getting lost.
