European Olympic Games 2015

For the occasion of the first European Olympic Games held in Baku in 2015, Pujol Arquitectura designed a covered installation that includes an Olympic swimming pool, a diving pool and a 25-metre training pool, as well as other facilities such as a gym, a restaurant and a shopping area, etc.

The project, carried out by Signes, set out and solved the building’s signage requirements during the Olympic Games and for its subsequent use as a community sporting facility.

 

The study of flow and circulation was proposed, both for vehicles and pedestrians, from the main access points to the different destinations for each user type: athletes, visitors, authorities, staff, suppliers, etc.

The graphics required for identifying each signage element and information media were developed. Production solutions were also designed in several languages for each category and its contents.
