2,700,000 liters of beer per day

In the factory of Damm, in El Prat de Llobregat in Barcelona, all the beer sold by the company is manufactured around the world, according to the original recipe of August K. Damm dating back to 1876. At present, more than 15 types of beer are manufactured with custom packaging, mostly designed by the prestigious graphic designer Mario Eskenazi.

Currently, Damm does not only produce beers, it processes, bottles and distributes water and soft drinks of different flavours.

Signes was commissioned to carry out the production of a signage project for visit routes to the factory.

In order to make the visit routes more attractive, the Rubio Arauna Studio designers created a graphic that makes the visit pleasant; from the entrance to the building, through a long corridor with graphics and diagrams on the production, distribution and sales data, to the walkway from which the bottling plant can be seen, one of the most impressive views of the route.

The application of most of the graphics was done in vinyl applied directly on walls or floors: one material in one colour, the brand corporate red. A shocking graphic with simple applications. It does not need further embellishments.

In the manufactured elements, a 10-metre diameter table stands out, with built-in screens and explanations of the brewing process.

A few years ago Signes had also identified at the exterior of the factory, which is highlighted by the sign of the main facade, an impressive red wall with an application of the brand over 90 metres long.

Currently we also manufacture the discs (backlit logos) of the bar beer pumps for Damm.
