Discover the unseen in the center of Barcelona

A splendid 5 star hotel located in the centre of Barcelona, a few metres from the Paseo de Gracia and very close to Las Ramblas. The Barcelona Renaissance hotel was the first hotel of the Marriot chain to be established in the city of Barcelona.

The challenge and the expectation to stand out over the rest of the hotels in the Barcelona neighbourhood was important. Its careful interior design and the own style of the Marriot chain make it one of the most modern and excellent hotels in the centre of Barcelona.

The North American design team that represented the Property chose Signes for the implementation of interior signage. A family of signs and information complements was developed to signal all areas; directional signs of rooms, positionals, directories, elevator information, pictograms, numbering of floors, all these signs were made of 3 mm aluminium brushed and varnished finish. All the standardised emergency signs with directional, evacuation plans pictograms following the UNE standards were also installed.

The room numbers were vertical luminous panels that went from the ceiling to the floor that were integrated into the interior design to illuminate the corridors of the rooms.
